External Links & New Window

Currently unless you middle click, you will lose PTG and exit to the external link site when you click on it. IMO it's better when an external link opens in a new window (tab).

It would seem that new window/tab for links is working properly. Just not for posts created before, which I suppose makes sense. Old threads that were created before the change still have links that open in the same window. Though, threads created from here on out will have links that open in a new window/tab.

So, nothing to fix now polux thanks for the upgrade. I did an edit on a current older topic and sure enough the re-posted links opened in a new window/tab. I could probably write a script that could edit all posts to reflect the changes if you want?

Yes if you can do that it will help me, hope this don't take you to many time.
I don't know why, but some old links are ok and others not.

I haven’t written the code to do it yet much less had the time to let it execute, but I’m half working on it. As long as future posts work correctly I’m not making it a priority. Between real work, and here, I’m also modding at that “other site”.

More people need to come here and use the forum!

I want more people on the forum to, i think this is because most of infos are directly on the site, so people don't take time to visit the forum
